Happy Saturday! It’s Writer’s Choice Week, and it’s been a couple of crazy busy weeks for me (both on the work and home fronts). So this is a real quick etheree. I’ve been trying to get all of my client bookkeeping and payroll tasks finished, as well as making sure all is taken care of for next week when we are on our Thanksgiving trip to Florida. On top of that, last night I achieved my goal and finished my Quickbooks ProAdvisor Level 1 Certification. I finally took the last module exam last night and passed it with 100%! WHEW, I am so happy and relieved that I can check off one of my work goals!
On the home front, I have been working piecemeal to get my Christmas tree finished and some of the holiday decorating started. I have right foot surgery scheduled for December 10, less than a week after we return. That means I will be in a boot for a couple weeks, with crutches and no driving. So probably no decorating either. UGH! Anyway, I have a 7.5 foot tree that is NOT pre-lit and requires about 18-19 strings of lights. A few days after I finally got the tree fluffed and lights on, one of the top strings started going on and off randomly, probably a loose wire. Now, if you KNOW me, you know this is just not acceptable LOL! So today my first task is to somehow get that woven string out of there and replace it. Then I can proceed with the rest of the decorating!
So yeah, I’m a little busy and stressed right now, but grateful that we are going to be seeing all of our Florida family and of course, snuggling with the grandkids! That means I may not be around much in the next week or so. So I’m wishing you all a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!
