An Early Spring
Pink
Cherry
Blossoms sprout.
Sun’s golden rays
Make daffodils blush
Beneath the turquoise skies.
Mockingbirds herald the dawn
Dew glimmers, ice water castles
Melt on budding forsythia limbs.
You are cordially invited to spring…
Like Godivas riding their Aethenoths,
Jonquils and tulips dance in their beds.
Symphony of chickadees swells,
Butterflies sip sweet nectar
From fuschia hibiscus.
Cool breezes ruffle
Fur of the fawn.
Early spring’s
Splendor
Reigns.
