Finding the Light

Finding the Light

distant train whistle
takes me back to yesterday
hush of fallen snow

twinkling in the stars
bears beckon in the night sky
far beyond the moon

harsh winds descended
and you were ripped from my life
crawling in the dark

I find my way home
as the pain of the day fades
you light up my world
