A Little More Wine

A Little More Wine

The fireplace glows, the mood is set,
Sparks ignite like the day we met.
One glass of red, warm and divine…
May I have a little more wine?

Hot molten wax burns down the wicks
On sterling silver candlesticks.
Passion burning, I’m feeling fine…
May I have a little more wine?

Bright stars collide as our souls meet,
Quenching desires, savory sweet.
Lips taste of grapes straight from the vine…
May I have a little more wine?

The fireplace glows, the mood is set…
May I have a little more wine?

    1. Haha! Why thank you very much! As if I have to really ask permission for more wine, right?

  1. Oh I do like this write.

    1. Thank you sweet Rebecca!! 😀

    1. The Sterling wine certainly was and is! Wow, the prompts fit in perfectly once I found that Roman holiday quote. ❤

Great quote you found – how did I miss it

    1. Thanks, I was struggling a bit with that one. I ended up scanning the actual screenplay and it was at the very end. PERFECT for this write! ❤

  3. Oh my! I am all in for a little more wine. *pours another glass of red* Cheers and 8 points Earthling!

  4. Irene Melgoza says:

You may have all the wine you desire.

  5. Michael Todd says:

No tease here, as you reach out and seize the moment(um) and run with it.

    Well done, Colleen!
