No April Rain

No April Rain

No April rain, no flowers bloom,
No overwhelming sense of gloom.
Her light shines through the thickest haze…
She brightens up the darkest days.

Her smile is like the blazing sun,
Full of rainbows and sparkly fun.
Effervescent, she sings and plays…
She brightens up the darkest days.

I leave behind my sun and skies
It’s always hard to say goodbyes.
I’m holding tight to yesterdays…
She brightens up the darkest days.

No April rain, no flowers bloom…
She brightens up the darkest days.

Happy Saturday! I’m posting super late as we’ve been visiting the little nuggets Posie and Hatcher in Florida and having a blast. We had a girls’ spa day, getting pampered with pedicures and enjoyed having a wonderful Thanksgiving turkey and ham dinner together. Today we had to say our goodbyes, and it never gets easier. These little ones are wrapped around my heart! Then it was southward to spend a few days with our Little Anthony, who is now 4 months old. It’s been a wonderful trip full of love and fun with these little ones. And seeing Vince and Katie becoming wonderful, loving parents completely warms my mother’s heart. That is the greatest Thanksgiving blessing I could ever imagine.

That’s all I’ve got. We’ll be back home very late Tuesday night, and there will be two cats waiting for us who will let us know they’re pissed at us for leaving for 10 days, lol! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration.

Xoxo, Colleen
