Hello, it’s Saturday night! I’m finally coming up for a little air. This haiku series was a 5 minute write, just off the top of my head. As I wrote it, I was listening to the song “Alone in Kyoto” by Air. Such a beautiful song that soothes my soul during troubled times.

Finally, less than a week until the January 31 deadline. This month has been a real humdinger, that’s for sure. Literally everything I touched had something screwy about it, and clients with all sorts of problems coming out of the woodwork asking for help. Hey, it’s my job, and I like doing it. But I am pretty whipped at this point, haha. I still have a lot to get through, but I’ll make it.

That’s all I got. I stay positive knowing that I’ve been through this before. Next weekend I plan to relax, rest and do a little self-care. Nothing special, although I am going to get my grays colored. YAY! Until next week….
